Job Summary

Cleanroom technicians maintain critical areas of manufacturing/research facilities using specialized equipment and systematic cleaning processes. Maintenance of entryways and wipe-down areas leading into clean-room. Maintenance of clean-room floors using ULPA filtered clean-room vacuums and cleanroom approved mopping techniques. Maintenance of clean-room walls and fixtures using clean-room approved wall mops or wipes. Removal and disposal of regulated waste and general trash. Other tasks assigned by Supervisor.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Performs specialized cleaning in a Cleanroom Manufacturing environment per approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Documentation of performed tasks.
• Maintaining Cleanroom gowning inventory and supplies.
• Detailing all machines and fixtures in the cleanroom when not in use
• Organizing delivery of gowning materials to the point of use within the cleanroom.
• Performing unit operations in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
• You must be able to wear additional clothing (jumpsuit, hood, shoe covers, gloves, hairnet, and facemask)
• Maintain a quality of performance of all specific duties and responsibilities.
• Keeping work areas clean and organized
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and established procedures
• Maintain company standards and programs for safety and security
• Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Integrity and ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Computer Literacy and Proficiency is required to complete training.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

• Exceptional Time Management and Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads.
• Ability to retain any given instructions
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to traverse work site and transport equipment used for completing job functions
• Ability to position self to reach areas both below waist level to the floor and above their head
• Ability to effectively communicate with management and coworkers
• Ability to detect, observe, and inspect work areas to identify potential opportunities and concerns.
• Ability to transport up to 50lbs through work site as needed
• Ability to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritants
• Must meet minimum age requirements
