Floater Driver

Monday - Friday Day-time

Shifts:

7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (full-time) Job Site Locations:
Brooklyn (but you will be covering for positions that may be in other parts of Manhattan / boroughs) Pay: $18.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Commercial Janitorial
• Groundskeeper - Mowing the grass, Weed whacking, hedge trimming, tree cutting and more as required
• litter pickup in outdoor common areas and sidewalks
• sweeping sidewalks
• removing and replacing trash bags in the trash can
• sweeping and mopping interior floors
• snow removal
• possible graffiti removal (we will teach you)
• following company policies and quality standards
• be the backup driver/backup supervisor if the main supervisor is out sick

Minimum Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE RECENT EXPERIENCE WITH - Commercial janitorial and Groundskeeping
• Must have a working phone that is able to download three mobile apps used to complete the job
• Must possess a VALID Drivers License
• Must have at least 2 years of driving experience in New York City, have a great driving record, and be able to pass the driving test
• Must be in good physical condition and health, without mental or physical disabilities or impairments that would reasonably be expected to interfere with the performance of the services or prevent you from being able to walk your assigned route
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions (rain, snow, sleet, heat, cold)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be age 18 or over

Experience:

• cleaning or maintenance: 1 year (Required)
• Manhattan driving: 2 years (Required)
• Trailer Truck Driving: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• NY Driver’s License (Required)

Pay Range for this Role:

18.50 - 18.50 USD per hour (EDC Area Maintenance)
