Maintenance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both electrical and mechanical systems and be able to work flexible shifts. Key responsibilities include maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing bakery equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency.

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment breakdowns.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and equipment failures.
• Utilize electrical and mechanical knowledge to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in machine repair and maintenance.
• Work flexible shifts to meet operational needs.
• Quickly adapt to new machinery and equipment.
• Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance team and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.

• Bilingual-Spanish. Must read, write and speak fluent Spanish and English.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work a second shift and adapt to changing schedules.
• A desire to learn and work with various machinery and equipment.

• Education: Technical degree or electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience working with mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in Spanish and English.
• Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast‑paced, industrial setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
