Custodial Worker

Suffolk County Community College is looking to fill one (1) Full Time Custodial Worker I position.

Shift: Tuesday – Friday 6:00am-2:30pm and Saturday 9:00am-5:30pm.

• Mops, applies floor finish, polishes and strips floor, vacuums carpets, dusts and polishes furniture, bookcases, paneling.
• Washes windows, walls, and wood work; empties garbage cans and trash baskets.
• Moves furniture and equipment within a building as directed.
• Shovels snow and spreads ice melt as needed.

• No minimum education or experience requirements.

• Starting annual salary: $34,713 (Grade 10) under the Association of Municipal Employees (AME) contract.
• Position is eligible for medical benefits offered by the College.
• Salary is in accordance with Suffolk County civil service and AME contract and is non-negotiable.
