Overview
The role of DES Service Associate is to serve as a member of a temporary work unit on a disaster relief operation to complete assigned responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and distribute supplies
- Ensure accuracy of all assigned tasks
- Meet the disaster-caused bulk supplies needs of individuals, families, and communities
- Age 18+ and Driver’s License (required)
- Ability to function in a high-stress environment
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to interact with community members in a compassionate manner
- Ability to lift 20-50 lbs multiple times during a shift
- Ability to bend and stoop multiple times during a shift
