• Serve as onsite support for space-sharing partners by providing access to buildings, remain onsite throughout events, assist breakdown, loadout, and clean-up after events.  
• Keep all church entrances and grounds clear of debris/litter.  
• Clean and stock all bathroom areas (Balcony, Community Room, Sacristy, Parish Hall).  
• Ensure that all doors are closed and locked, and alarm is set when the last to leave the premise or assign those duties to manager left onsite.  
• Sweep, mop, and wipe down surfaces in the Kitchen, Sanctuary, Parish Hall, Community Room, and Narthex (Church Foyer)  
• Sweep Church and Parish House entrances.  
• Monitor all lights (indoor & exterior) and replace bulbs.  
• Monitor buildings and grounds (interior and exterior) and advise St. Ann’s Operations Director of dangers/concerns about the condition, safety, and maintenance needs.  
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE   To serve successfully in this role, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.  
• Understand written and verbal instructions.  
• Climb steps and ladders as well as to bend, pull and push.  
• Lift, move and manipulate objects up to 50lbs.  
• Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.  
• Read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.  
• Be a self-starter and able to take initiative while being responsible and accountable to staff supervisors and co-workers.

The part-time sexton assumes various responsibilities to support our space-sharing partners, ensuring that they are accommodated as needed and that St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church’s buildings and grounds are kept clean and orderly.###
