Senior Security Technician – Security

The Senior Security Technician maintains security systems for all offices, sale sites, facilities and warehouses. This role is essential to safeguard Christie’s assets and ensure operational continuity.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Install, inspect and service access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, intercom and other peripheral equipment.
  • Install and program security software as needed for installation, maintenance and upgrade.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on peripheral devices.
  • Produce routine reports on device and system status.
  • Work with and instruct vendors during installation projects.
  • Implement security design concepts compliant with local and international codes and company standards.
  • Troubleshoot problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions based on experience and research.
  • Monitor and assess threats and risks to the company through application security scanning to mitigate threats to the company’s assets.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent work experience acceptable.
  • NYS Security Installer Licensed preferred.
  • Experience with CCURE 9000 and Victor VMS.
  • Minimum of two (2) years related work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of physical and mathematical sciences, physics, chemistry and engineering sciences such as fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and electrical circuits.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents; write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Sound knowledge of networking.
  • Sound knowledge of security system installation and aptitude for learning new systems.
  • Facilitator of progressive change with initiative and results orientation.
  • Availability for out‑of‑hours work (weekends and some late nights).
  • Potential travel within the United States.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent sit and stand; use of hands and arms; ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
  • Frequent exposure to high and precarious places.
  • Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather, and electrical shock risk.

Compensation

Salary range: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00 (excluding discretionary bonus and overtime).
