Job Summary :

Regional Property Management Company is seeking an energetic and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at an apartment complex located in Orange County NY. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history in maintenance roles and possess the necessary skills to perform light handiwork. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and a professional appearance, with the added benefit of on-site residency in a 2-3 bedroom apartment.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks for the building and grounds.
• Ensure the upkeep of all common areas, including cleaning, landscaping, and maintenance of facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
• Respond to tenant requests and maintenance needs in a timely and courteous manner.
• Perform light handiwork, including but not limited to painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
• Additional cleaning and maintenance duties may be assigned as required.

Education and Experience :

• Previous experience in a maintenance technician role or similar position preferred.
• Hands-on or cumulative work experience may substitute for formal training or certification.

Language

Skills:

• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• None required.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
