Essential Job Functions
  • A) Perform cleaning tasks including:
    Sweeping and mopping floors, Cleaning toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers and drinking fountains. Cleaning buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, dusting and cleaning surfaces.
  • B) Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours.
  • C) Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • D) Light maintenance as directed by the Swept FREE supervisor.
  • E) Demonstrate professional conduct at all times. Follow the code of conduct and Agency expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • F) Transport Swept FREE team members to and from TRI location in Westbury to FREE location in Bethpage.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • A) Must be able to work in a team oriented environment.
Education, Work Experience, and Competencies
  • A) Experience in janitorial/maintenance industry preferred.
  • B) Must have a valid NYS driver’s license.
Physical Demands
  • A) Must be able to stand for 5 – 6 hours at a time and lift over 50lbs.
