CLEANER - 2nd Shift at WAYNE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
Probationary appointment – 12 Month
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Description Of Duties:
- Dust, polish tables, desks, etc.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum
- Gather and dispose of refuse
- Assist in general clean up of school, school grounds and parking lots
Requirements:
- Neat, clean appearance, punctual.
- Ability to get along with professional and supportive staff.
- Possess appropriate driver’s license.
- Employee must regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift/move more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
- Some knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions.
- Ability to get along well with others.
- Ability to read and write.
- Thoroughness; cleanliness; good physical condition.
