An On-Call Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of a building or facility. They perform a variety of tasks such as cleaning common areas, removing trash, and ensuring that the building is secure. The On-Call Porter is expected to be available to work on short notice and may be required to work weekends or holidays.
Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and elevators
- Remove trash and recycling from the building
- Ensure that the building is secure by locking doors and windows
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work on short notice and be available for on-call shifts
- Professional Porter attire required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
