CompensationCompensation Range: $17/hr - $18/hr commensurate with experience.

OverviewThe Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the building’s offices and office bathrooms and assisting with furniture assembly.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary:
- Adhere to the custodial and preventative maintenance plan to ensure that the facility’s common spaces – pantry area, bathrooms, offices, residential spaces – are clean, sanitary, and properly stocked with supplies.
Secondary:
- Assist clients to prepare for moving out of the hotel program by assisting them with packing and inventorying their belongings. Improve facility maintenance operations by ensuring that work orders are closed promptly, and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality.
- Close 95% of work orders within the specified time frame.
- High School Diploma or GED is a plus.
- Able to lift 50lbs., carry and remove trash, and climb a ladder.
- The Custodian position is one which requires the staff person to be present in the program site 100% of the time.
- The Custodian must handle cleaning chemicals and solvents daily.
- Able to maintain a high level of client confidentiality.
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.
