Club Janitorial Attendant – 24 Hour Fitness
Opportunity to join a dedicated team as a Club Janitorial Attendant. The role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for club members and staff.
Job SummaryThe Club Attendant drives member satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service through performing a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the facility in a healthy, clean, and orderly standard.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Cleans and dusts walls, mirrors, countertops, glass, and windows.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums floors in all club areas, including locker rooms, weight area, cardio, office space, hallways, and stairs.
- Cleans and dusts all weight and cardio equipment.
- Restocks supplies.
- Empties garbage and recycling containers.
- Completes daily and weekly scope of work as assigned.
- Performs special cleaning projects as assigned.
- Cleans and maintains wet areas of the club, if applicable (cleaning pool deck, vacuuming pool, cleaning steam room and sauna, and conducting regular pool chemical testing). Small clubs may not include wet areas.
- Performs minor cosmetic repairs on equipment (rust removal, touch‑up paint, re‑labeling, etc.).
- Partners with the Facility Technician to perform cleaning duties on equipment as outlined in the preventative maintenance guide.
- Performs minor painting as approved/directed by the General Manager and Facilities Technician.
- Uses all janitorial supplies in accordance with product labels and club manuals.
- Reports newly identified facility maintenance issues via Service Channel.
- Reports member complaints to the General Manager.
Partners with the Facilities Technician and reports to the General Manager. The club attendant regularly interacts with club management, team members, and club members.
Required Qualifications- Cleaning practices and procedures.
- Understand and follow written instructions.
- Effectively communicate (verbal and written skills).
- Work independently in the absence of supervision.
- Attention to detail.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of duties.
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- Six months of janitorial experience.
- Stand, walk, and use hands and arms frequently.
- Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl often.
- Lift up to 25 pounds regularly; occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Use cleaning chemicals, ladders, and cleaning utensils.
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and loud noise.
- Communicate with internal and external members via telephone.
- Travel from club to club may be required.

Compensation SummaryPay Range: $16.74 per hour (full-rate variation may apply based on location, experience, or education). Full‑time positions may also include additional benefits such as medical/dental/vision, paid time off, and sickness benefits.
