Job Description – Housekeeper (Temporary Assignment)

Location:

Upper East Side, Manhattan, NY

Duration: 2 Months (Monday – Friday)

Start Time: 9:00 AM Daily

Hours:

Minimum 4 hours/day, up to 6–8 hours/day

Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Evie’s Cleaners is seeking a professional and reliable Housekeeper for a private residence in Manhattan. This is a temporary assignment lasting approximately two months, with the possibility of extending hours based on client needs. The role requires attention to detail, discretion, and a strong work ethic.

• General cleaning and upkeep of a private residence, including:
• 3 bedrooms
• 3.5 bathrooms
• Library
• Kitchen
• Foyer
• Formal dining room
• Living room
• Daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Proper care and upkeep of household spaces in line with professional cleaning standards
• Follow client’s instructions for home access and building protocols
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the client’s privacy at all times

• Prior housekeeping or professional cleaning experience (residential preferred)
• Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Professional attire: black shirt, black/solid jeans, and clean shoes
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Strong communication skills
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be comfortable working in a private, high-end residential environment

• Client provides all cleaning supplies and equipment
• This position is strictly for cleaning duties. No childcare, pet care, or errands are included
• Weekly billing handled directly through Evie’s Cleaners
