Location(s): CAMBA’s Cornerstone at Boulevard Community Center (726 Stanley Ave Brooklyn, NY 11207) and CAMBA’s Cornerstone at Penn-Wortman Community Center (895 Pennsylvania Ave Brooklyn, NY 11207).

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality
• Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures
• Comply with Federal, State, City and CAMBA security and privacy policies related to health information
• Identify and report maintenance issues
• Comply with maintenance regulatory requirements at all times
• Use appropriate safety standards and display safety signs when performing tasks
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, window blinds, and draperies
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, and related fixtures
• Replace light bulbs, fixtures, covers, and outlets as needed
• Dust and wipe furniture, equipment, and ceiling fans
• Sort and transport trash and recyclables to disposal area
• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways and stairs
• Replenish bathroom supplies including toilet tissue, paper towels, and hand soap
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, sills and doors; clean vents and air conditioner filters
• Plaster and paint interiors as needed
• Replace door handles or locks as needed
• May remove graffiti and replace tiles as necessary
• May cut and trim grass; may make minor plumbing and electrical repairs
• May escort clients to appointments

• Sufficient education and technical expertise to comprehend instructions, perform maintenance tasks, and document completed work

• Department of Health, Department of Education fingerprint clearance; and State Central Registry (SCR) clearance
• Ability to maintain SCR clearance and fingerprint clearance throughout employment

$17.00 hourly

Full-time (35 hours per week)
