Temporary Janitor; Bensonhurst Corps

The janitor (temp) will substitute the absent janitorial staff and perform all necessary janitorial and maintenance duties as needed.

• Must substitute the Janitorial staff's responsibilities for the day, including the listed job duties.
• Sweep and mop the floors.
• Clean bathrooms and restock bathroom supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Dining Room area (wipe down tables, stack chairs, clean gym equipment, etc.).
• General Office Cleaning (vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, etc.).
• Empty all garbage cans and dispose of all garbage.
• Maintain cleanliness of the reception area and the donation area.
• Assist in folding forks to prepare for next lunch.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Computer Room and Music Room.
• Wipe down front glass door and hand railing.
• Record on the daily cleaning logs.
• Other duties as assigned by the Administrator/Program Coordinator/Corps Officer.

• Good character and willingness to work.
• Must be physically able to lift heavy objects and follow safety procedures.
• Be flexible with work hours to accommodate special events or assigned tasks.
• Must be able to speak and understand Chinese (preferable Cantonese).
• Ability to follow through with assigned tasks.
• Can work well with others.
• Able to work Monday-Friday within the hours of 9:00am–4:00pm as needed.
