Floor Technician (Full Time)

Location:

HHR – 1 Battery Park Plaza, New York, NY 10004. Online applications accepted only.

Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 6:30 pm. Further details upon interview.

Pay Range: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

• Maintains knowledgebyter of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface.
• Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface treatment, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
