Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position provides the cleaning and portering services throughout the University complex.

This position requires work hours Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

• Provides cleaning and portering services in both academic & residential University buildings.
• Removes recyclables and trash in accordance with University procedures.
• Delivers mail in the buildings.
• Rearranges furniture and performs small move jobs when requested.
• Keeps building entrances and perimeters free of leaves, garbage, etc., as the need arises.
• Must sign in and out for all keys.
• Other duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months of prior cleaning experience.

• Must be able to read English and follow written instructions.
• Must have knowledge of general cleaning techniques and preventative maintenance, including standard use of power washers, standup vacuums & backpack vacuums.
