Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Role:
Maintenance Service Technician supporting facility operations and equipment at GE Health Care's digital X-Ray Detector manufacturing site in North Greenbush, NY.
Objectives:ensure continuous, safe, and compliant facility and equipment performance in a 24/7 environment.
Responsibilities:- perform preventive and routine maintenance,
- basic chemical testing,
- system monitoring (e.g., boilers, DI-Water, safety systems),
- maintain water softeners,
- assist with repairs,
- and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
High School Diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand tools and computers, reliable transportation, and effective communication skills. Experience with building management systems is a plus.
