As a Maintenance Assistant at Pine Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep tasks. Our Maintenance Assistant is a full-time opportunity that requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, cleaning, painting, and repairing equipment, fixtures, and facilities
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure seamless facility operations
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors

• Prior experience in maintenance or a related field preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and climbing
• Basic understanding of maintenance and repair principles
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
