Hours:
Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
Rate: $18.04/hr
OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:This position is responsible for the cleaning of a multi-purpose office building.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:- Floor Care (Knowledge of buffer machines and Floor Scrubbers helpful).
- Responsible for keeping the restrooms cleaned, sanitized, and stocked
- Trash and recyclables
- Carpet Cleaning (Use of carpet extractor)
- Clean all windows
- Light Painting/repairs
- Vacuuming/dusting
- Keep walkways free of snow, ice and debris
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Communicate effectively, openly and honestly, with staff and leaders on a consistent basis
This position will assist with any office moves or special cleaning projects as directed by supervisor. May assist in the set up for events that occur onsite.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:- Great attention to details
- Multi-tasker
- Able to quickly asses and react to situation requiring a custodial remedy.
- Previous experience in the janitorial field preferably in an office/industrial setting
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license

- Must be capable to stand for longs periods of time
- Must be able to lift a mop bucket, full of water over obstacles
- Must be capable to move throughout work day. Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to lift arms over your head to reach high places
- Must be able to move in tight spaces
- Frequent lifting of > _25+ pounds
