Elev8 Recovery Center is located in Harlem, NY. We are a first-class
inpatient treatment center offering top-level medical care and evidence-based clinical care for individuals suffering from substance use disorder
. We are seeking a professional handy person
/ maintenance worker able to attend to our facility with integrity and attention to detail. The maintenance worker will be responsible for the building
safety & maintenance, including small repairs, plumbing and carpentry
as well as working with outside vendors.

• Experience working with various
  construction materials
• Experience using
  hand and power tools
• Ability to
  handle chemicals and bio-hazardous materials
  , which may require the use of protective gear such as gloves and goggles
• Comply with company policies, practices and procedures, as well as safety regulations
• Represent company as a professional in appearance and manner.
• Communicate written and oral communication at the highest level of professionalism and integrity

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years prior experience
• Must have
  knowledge of routine power tools and cleaning equipment
  .
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task
• Possess knowledge of workplace safety procedures
