The Role

The Senior Manager, Social Media will shape and maintain the narrative that advances Chief’s mission to create more possibilities for women’s power – across social media platforms.

The Senior Manager, Social Media will own our Chief Social Media channels end-to-end, and lead Executive Social Media – from content development and publishing to community engagement and providing performance insights. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, deeply fluent in social culture, inspired by the subject matter, and capable of producing best-in-class content that builds brand affinity and powers a Chief editorial flywheel.

They can move fluidly between creator, editor, and strategist.

This role ensures all Social Media content, community management, and publishing strategies reflect Chief’s position as the most influential private community for senior women leaders. This role reports to the VP of Brand & Marketing and works in close collaboration with cross-functional partners, including Comms/PR, Events & Programming, Growth Marketing, and Sales teams, and is supported by creative, operations, and analytics functions to develop and execute integrated ideas.

What

You’ll Do
  • Own Chief’s organic brand and Executive Leadership Social Media channels (Linked In, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, You Tube, others), including ownership & oversight, publishing, calendar planning, content development, influencer relations, partnership amplification, and community engagement.
  • Develop and implement compelling content initiatives that align with brand goals and resonate across all Social channels throughout the year, integrated messaging, and consistent brand voice at every touchpoint.
  • Partner with the VP of Marketing and VP of Comms to guide cross-functional collaboration with internal creative, editorial, and content teams.
  • Concept, script, and edit high-quality content – including short-form video, social-first graphics, carousels, and experiential storytelling – using the latest available tools and platforms (Canva, Cap Cut, etc).
  • Develop and execute amplification strategies for major membership moments:
    Chief

    X, product and programming updates, Executive Education launches, Clubhouse storytelling, and more.
  • Build and maintain editorial calendars that balance brand storytelling, campaigns, real-time moments, and community-driven content.
