Position

Summary

Live Well Group (LWG) is seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Housekeeper to oversee and participate in the daily operations of the housekeeping team. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for ensuring cleanliness standards across our residential communities, managing a team of 3–4 housekeeping staff, and coordinating training, scheduling, inventory, and quality control.

The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience in a residential, hospitality, or commercial setting, along with demonstrated leadership ability. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks including cleaning common areas, apartments, guest cottages, and administrative spaces.
  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring performance and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for cleaning routines, turnover, and special projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to LWG standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place supply orders as needed within budget.
  • Onboard and train new housekeeping team members in proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding maintenance issues, staffing needs, and any operational concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment aligned with LWG’s values and mission.
Skills and Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to train, motivate, and lead a small team.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in maintaining inventory and basic supply ordering procedures.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to communicate effectively in‑person, over the phone, and via digital platforms.

  • Work with cleaning chemicals in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Work indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer, tools, and standard office or field equipment.
