Director of Financial Systems

Our client is a well-established investment management firm with a footprint spanning New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, employing around 200 professionals. Five years ago, they strategically migrated to Net Suite as their enterprise resource planning solution, and the platform has become integral to their operations. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Financial Systems to lead the optimization and evolution of our client's Net Suite-based financial technology ecosystem. This senior role will oversee system architecture, team development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure financial systems support business objectives.

• Lead the Financial Systems function, providing strategic direction and vision for Net Suite and integrated platforms
• Manage and mentor a team of systems professionals, including administrators and analysts
• Oversee Net Suite financial modules, ensuring optimal configuration and performance
• Partner with Finance leadership to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions
• Drive system enhancement projects from conception through implementation
• Establish and maintain system governance, controls, and compliance standards
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to enhance the financial systems landscape
• Develop and manage the systems budget and resource allocation
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and data accuracy
• Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery planning and system redundancy

• 8+ years of experience in financial systems management, with at least 5 years working with Net Suite
• 3+ years in a leadership or management role
• Deep expertise in Net Suite financials, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of financial processes, controls, and regulatory requirements
• Proven track record of leading successful system implementations and upgrades
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus
• Net Suite certifications highly desirable
