VP of Sales & Merchandising

We are seeking a strategic and results‑oriented executive to lead sales and merchandising for a design‑focused fashion brand. This role partners closely with executive and design leadership to align product vision, brand positioning, and commercial performance, with a strong emphasis on leather goods expertise.

The VP will bridge creativity and commerce, guiding product development, assortment strategy, and go‑to‑market execution while driving sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global sales and merchandising strategy aligned with brand vision and growth objectives
• Partner with design leadership on product development from concept to launch
• Provide expert oversight of leather materials, craftsmanship, and quality standards
• Shape assortment, pricing, margin optimization, and seasonal planning
• Analyze market trends, performance data, and customer insights to inform decisions
• Oversee forecasting, inventory planning, and demand management
• Build, mentor, and lead high‑performing sales and merchandising teams
• Collaborate with executive leadership on long‑term brand and commercial strategy

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in fashion sales, merchandising, or product strategy
• Deep expertise in leather goods and premium product development
• Proven ability to elevate brands through strong creative and commercial leadership
• Strong financial, analytical, and strategic capabilities
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
