The Vice President of Sales will define and lead the end-to-end commercial strategy for the Consumer Products portfolio:
Derma E and Thinksun, across the U.S. and Canada. This executive is accountable for accelerating profitable growth, expanding strategic distribution, and strengthening high-impact partnerships across Mass, Beauty, Natural, Club, and FDM channels. This role requires a dynamic, growth-oriented leader who can translate strategic vision into disciplined execution, scaling brands in highly competitive beauty categories while driving sustainable revenue and margin expansion.
LEADERSHIP & P&L OWNERSHIP
- Own full commercial P&L across retail channels (excluding Amazon and ), including revenue, gross margin, trade spend, and sell-through performance.
- Develop and execute annual and 3YP sales strategies aligned with brand and financial objectives.
- Lead annual planning, forecasting, and budget allocation processes; adjust plans dynamically to exceed targets.
- Define channel strategy (Mass, Beauty, Natural, Club) in collaboration with digital counterpart to maximize portfolio growth and profitability.
- Identify white space opportunities for distribution expansion and assortment optimization.
- Serve as executive lead for key retail partnerships and broker relationships.
- Negotiate strategic agreements including pricing architecture, promotional support, assortment expansion, and shelf positioning.
- Build multi-year joint business plans with priority accounts to drive incremental growth.
- Own promotional and trade strategy, ensuring disciplined ROI and margin optimization.
- Oversee deduction management and trade compliance in partnership with Finance.
- Manage WOS and inventory levels with key retail partners and distributors to ensure inventory availability.
- Drive visibility to revenue, sell-through and key KPIs through weekly reviews, ongoing reporting and Board materials.
- Regularly analyze POS, market share, and competitive activity to assess the health of the business.
- Partner with Data & Finance to elevate forecasting models, dashboard reporting, and KPI tracking.
- Translate insights into actionable growth plans across assortment, pricing, promotion, and placement.
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales organization, channel leads, field team, analyst, and broker networks.
- Establish clear KPIs, accountability structures, and performance management processes.
- Serve as the retail commercial leader cross-functionally, influencing Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Development.
- Champion a culture of ownership, urgency, and data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years of progressive beauty sales leadership experience in National Accounts (skincare required)
- Deep omni channel experience across Mass, Beauty, and Natural retailers (Target, Walmart, Ulta strongly preferred)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action, speed in decision-making, and comfort operating in a fast-growth environment
- Proven P&L ownership and trade investment management experience
- Strong negotiation expertise with large national retailers
- Demonstrated ability to scale distribution, improve velocity, and expand market share
- Advanced analytical capabilities with experience leveraging POS and market data
- Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership and retail partners
