PurposeThe Ecommerce Logistics Manager is responsible for the execution, performance, and cost control of ZARA USA’s ecommerce fulfillment operations. This role owns key operational KPIs, ensures strong 3PL execution and process compliance, and works cross-functionally to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient logistics solutions.
This is a hands‑on role requiring strong ownership, independent execution, and the ability to influence multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities Operations, Service & Returns Execution- Own day‑to‑day execution of ecommerce fulfillment operations across East and West Coast facilities.
- Support multi-channel fulfillment flows, including direct-to-consumer ecommerce, store-supported fulfillment, and B2B order execution where applicable.
- Ensure delivery commitments, service levels, and inventory accuracy are consistently achieved across forward and reverse flows.
- Own operational execution of returns processing, including warehouse and workshop activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost‑effective handling.
- Be regularly present on‑site to understand operational realities and drive execution excellence across fulfillment and returns operations.
- Own full performance management of 3PL warehouse partners across fulfillment and returns operations.
- Ensure strict process compliance, operational discipline, and adherence to agreed SLAs.
- Lead KPI reviews, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action plans covering service, cost, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with 3PL partners to improve throughput, reduce cost per unit, and shorten return cycle times.
- Support RFP processes and evaluation of new logistics partners; participate in annual performance and commercial discussions.
- Own fulfillment and returns cost per unit, identifying efficiency and productivity improvement opportunities.
- Support labor planning, capacity readiness, and peak execution across all operational flows.
- Build clear, data‑backed business cases to support operational changes, investments, or process improvements.
- Work closely with WMS, OMS, and commitment models to ensure accurate delivery promises and operational feasibility.
- Monitor and improve inventory accuracy across both forward and reverse logistics flows.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure operational processes are documented, followed, and continuously improved.
- Support and lead operational initiatives related to automation, AGVs, and process improvements.
- Contribute to network optimization discussions with a strong execution and feasibility lens.
- Manage cross‑functional initiatives ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
- Partner closely with Ecommerce, Transportation, Commercial, IT/Tech, Stores, and external partners.
- Influence internal stakeholders and 3PL teams without direct authority.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with managers, directors, and senior stakeholders.
- 3–8 years of experience in ecommerce, omni‑channel, or retail logistics operations.
- Proven experience managing high‑volume, unit‑level fulfillment and returns operations.
- Hands‑on experience working with 3PL‑managed warehouse environments.
- Exposure to multi‑channel fulfillment models, including ecommerce, store‑supported flows, or B2B distribution.
- Strong working knowledge of WMS, OMS, and delivery commitment models.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
- Industrial Engineering background and MBA strongly preferred.
