T2 is a division of Tarisio, designed specifically for the violin trade. As a leading international venue for fine instruments and bows, Tarisio has revolutionized the market since its launch in 1999 by combining first-class expertise, efficient online bidding and a firm commitment to ethics and professionalism. T2 upholds this tradition, focusing on instruments and bows that require restoration, have uncertain attributions, or originate from a trade workshop.
Estimates are set at wholesale prices, and the instruments are presented in an efficient and professional venue, thereby furthering the organization's mission to make buying and selling instruments increasingly accessible for musicians of all levels.
Reporting to the Head of NY Production, the T2 Production Manager serves as the operational and customer service leader at our New York office. They are responsible for ensuring the T2 showroom and office run efficiently and sustainably. The position oversees day to day operations, facilities, customer service, our onsite workforce, and compliance while contributing to long-term organizational culture and trade partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations in the T2 showroom and offices
- Lead, manage, develop and support staff, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture
- Help create and implement strategies to drive growth, efficiency, and productivity
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, vendors and partners
- Deliver a consistent and trade-centric customer experience
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and streamline operations
- Oversee the company’s systems, tools and protocols used in operations
- Identify and mitigate business risks implementing policies for safety, legal compliance and crisis response
- Manage and implement auctions from inception to completion, ensuring seamless execution across planning, customer service and the post-sale processes
- Provide structured updates and reports to the leadership team to support transparency, alignment and promote informed decision-making
- Act as an ambassador for T2 and Tarisio, managing the Front of House, as well as phone and email accounts

- 5+ years of senior operational experience preferred
- Established network within the US violin trade is essential
- Proven experience managing day-to-day operations in a production, warehouse, logistics, auction, or similarly process-driven environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on business profitability and value creation
- Experience leading, motivating and managing teams
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Experience building, maintaining and growing relationships with staff, stakeholders, and clients
- Skilled in streamlining processes and managing daily business activities
- Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and deal with high-volume situations
- Strong understanding of operational workflows, facilities management, and health & safety or compliance requirements
- Experience delivering consistent, high-quality customer service in a trade- or client-facing setting
