This is a full-time, on-site position for a Finance & Supply Chain Manager specializing in DME Operations, based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The individual will oversee supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and supply management. Daily responsibilities include analyzing data, developing procurement strategies, managing inventory, and ensuring financial efficiency in supply chain operations. Coordination with vendors, financial reporting, and adherence to regulatory requirements will also be part of the role.
Key Responsibilities- Manage accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting related to purchasing and inventory
- Oversee demand planning, inventory control, and supply chain forecasting
- Lead procurement activities, including vendor negotiations and contract management
- Monitor pricing, margins, and cost efficiency across product lines
- Ensure timely payment of suppliers and resolution of billing issues
- Maintain compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and DME regulatory standards
- Analyze operational and financial data to support strategic decision-making
- Coordinate with the CEO and CFO on financial planning and resource allocation
- Improve internal systems for inventory tracking and procurement workflows
- Strong skills in Demand Planning and Inventory Management to ensure efficient inventory optimization and supply chain operations.
- Expertise in Analytical Skills to interpret data, forecast demand, and generate actionable insights for strategic decisions.
- Supply Management and Procurement experience to build vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications such as APICS, CPIM, or CSCP are a plus.
- Working knowledge of applicable industry regulations, systems, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in durable medical equipment operations is highly desirable.
