About the PositionReporting to the Director of Client Services, the Manager of Case Management (MCM) is a senior clinical leadership role responsible for supervising Restore NYC’s case management team and ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed, survivor-centered services across programs. This position provides clinical supervision, documentation oversight, and practice guidance to Case Managers, ensuring services align with standards of care, Restore policies, and grant requirements. The MCM plays a critical role in translating clinical judgment into daily practice, supporting staff working with survivors of trafficking who present with complex trauma, safety risks, immigration concerns, and intersecting social needs.
This role brings a strong clinical lens to supervision, consultation, and decision-making. To remain grounded in direct service and survivor needs, the MCM maintains a small clinical or case-management caseload of approximately five clients.
Provide regular clinical supervision to Case Managers, supporting sound clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, and trauma-informed practice.
Guide staff in working with complex cases involving safety risks, active trafficking, immigration concerns, severe trauma, or system involvement.
Support Case Managers who are not clinicians by helping them integrate trauma-informed principles and appropriate boundaries into case management practice.
Offer case consultation and coaching to strengthen assessment, safety planning, goal setting, and survivor-led decision-making.
Support staff well-being by modeling reflective supervision and addressing secondary trauma.
Standards of Care, Documentation Quality & Grant Alignment (25%)Monitor documentation quality and service delivery through data reports, dashboards, and system-level review, ensuring alignment with, clinical and case management standards of care, Restore policies and procedures, and grant and funder requirements
Review trends in ISPs, service logs, case activity, enrollments, and outcomes in Apricot/Steadfast to identify strengths, gaps, and areas for improvement.
Use report-based insights to provide supervisory feedback, coaching, and guidance to Case Managers, supporting consistency, accuracy, and timely documentation.
Partner with the Director of Client Services and Grants & Finance Manager to support monitoring visits, site reviews, audits, and reporting preparation.
Approach documentation and compliance oversight as a reflective, learning-oriented process that strengthens practice, supports staff development, and improves survivor outcomes.
Program & Practice Oversight (20%)Monitor day-to-day case management practice to ensure consistency, timeliness, and survivor-centered service delivery.
Identify practice gaps or systemic challenges and propose improvements to workflows, tools, or training.
Support the maintenance and implementation of case management SOPs, templates, and service manuals.
Participate in the Client Services Management Team, contributing clinical and practice-based insight to operational planning.
Direct Service Delivery (20%)Maintain a small caseload of 5 clients (clinical counseling).
Conduct intakes, needs assessments, ISPs, safety plans, and provide trauma-informed interventions.
