Account DIrector

We are seeking Agency Account Directors to join a leading NY based Social Media focused agency.

You must be based in NY and be available for in person meetings.

You will serve as a primary client partner
, guiding strategy, overseeing execution, and collaborating closely with creative, strategy, production, and media teams.

You’ll balance big-picture thinking with day-to-day leadership-ensuring work is smart, on-brief, on-time, and culturally relevant.

• Lead integrated social-first programs across platforms (Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, emerging channels)
• Translate client goals into clear strategic direction for internal teams
• Oversee scopes, timelines, budgets, and resourcing across accounts
• Partner closely with creative and strategy teams to deliver standout work
• Present work, performance, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Identify growth opportunities and support new business initiatives
• Mentor and manage junior account team members (Director level and above)
• Ensure operational excellence while protecting creative ambition

• 5-10+ years of account management experience at a social, digital, or integrated agency
• Deep understanding of social-first marketing, creators, culture, and platforms
• Comfortable leading complex, high-visibility accounts
• Strong communicator—clear, persuasive, and calm under pressure
• Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
• Proven experience managing budgets, scopes, and cross-functional teams
• Trusted advisor to clients, not just a project manager
• NYC-based
