Responsibilities- Support product development activities including the following: review of prototypes and samples, milestone adherence, sending of development packages to overseas partners.
- Partner with Materials teams to procure sampling materials for all development milestones.
- Execute, maintain and update necessary data and tools.
- Manage day-to-day communication and activities with the Asia PD team.
- Supports approval process and resolution of pending items to ensure smooth process from development to commercialization.
- Execute day-to-day activities based on priorities set by Manager and drives task completion and issue resolution.
- Demonstrate understanding of development process, implications when deadlines are missed, and alert manager of potential issues.
- Organize and maintain sample arrival and archiving.
- Support in research and development.
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft 360, ECV or other PLM systems.
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in product development, including the categories of handbags and SLGs.
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi-task.
- Flexibility to adapt as the business requires and to perform efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
- Experience working in a global company with overseas partners.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications particularly Excel, TEAMS, Illustrator.
