Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) of LMC Advisors, LLC, the Chief of Staff will serve as a highly trusted strategic and operational partner, helping to drive execution against growth initiatives, ensure consistent delivery of strategic priorities, and manage operational improvements key to both the short‑ and long‑term success of the firm. The role will be based in New York City and expected to be in‑office for a minimum of 3 days per week.

    Chief Growth Officer, LMC Advisors; extensive day‑to‑day interaction with the firm CEO, President, Chief Human Resources Officer, and others across the firm leadership team

    To be discussed; opportunity for management of Growth Team (up to 6 direct reports) depending on candidate experience and capabilities
  • Relationships with key stakeholders: LMC CEO and Executive Leadership Team, Growth Team, Ascend HQ functional leaders (e.g., Finance, M&A, etc.), Regional Presidents, and more
Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the Chief Growth Officer, the Chief of Staff will support the execution of key strategic and growth initiatives, support management of firm P&L, and serve as an extension of the CGO across strategy, analytics, operations, and cross‑functional management and coordination.

Support Implementation of Growth Initiatives
  • Support the CGO in achieving firm‑level P&L targets and driving sustained, double‑digit EBITDA growth
  • Develop a deep understanding of the accounting industry (including M&A, pricing, offshore, marketing, business development, and operational levers) and help prioritize initiatives for maximum impact
  • Support execution of key growth and operational initiatives, ensuring strong project management, timelines, and accountability
  • Build, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into performance and leading indicators; prepare materials for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews
  • Bring a mindset of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve execution, and enhance performance transparency
M&A and Integration Support
  • Support the CGO in executing integration playbooks for add‑on acquisitions
  • Coordinate cross‑functional work streams to ensure seamless onboarding of acquired teams and books of business
  • Track integration milestones and performance metrics to accelerate realization of value post‑acquisition
  • Support initiatives aimed at sustaining high employee engagement and an eNPS of 70+
Strategic Execution & Relationship Management
  • Act as a thought partner to the CGO on strategic, operational, and organizational priorities
