Overview

Chances for Children-NY (CFC) is a nonprofit organization serving pregnant mothers and families with children from birth to age five in the Bronx. We work with parents and their young children to nurture family relationships, address trauma, and build resilience. Through our extensive network of community partners, we reach families with relational health struggles large and small and provide parent-child (dyadic) therapy and group programs for families in need.

Our program is a strengths-based, relational, attachment, trauma- and psychodynamic informed preventative approach. This preventative methodology focuses on building strong family bonds and addressing the underlying factors that impact early relational health. Chances for Children has been serving the community in New York City for 25 years. We invite you to consider how your unique talents and experience could contribute to the growth and expansion of our organization.
