About

The Role

This role is for a Transfer Pricing Senior Director (Senior Manager/Associate Director equivalent) within FTI Consulting’s Tax Advisory practice.
The candidate will take ownership of the delivery of transfer pricing services and delegating work to the more junior people within the team.
The role will involve managing a portfolio of multinational clients across a broad range of industries, ensuring excellent client service and identification of further work opportunities.
The role will involve working on a breadth of advisory projects across all technical areas of transfer pricing, including transfer pricing policy design, reviews and implementation, thin capitalisation analysis, transfer pricing in M&A transactions, and expert witness litigation. The role will also include working on transfer pricing documentation projects and benchmarking analyses. In addition, there will be an opportunity to take an active role in business development opportunities, both through involvement in proposals and attending networking events.

What

You’ll Do
  • Lead project management of transfer pricing engagements to ensure timely delivery of work to meet deadlines.
  • Own day-to-day client interactions, acting as primary contact for ongoing transfer pricing engagements to provide high levels of client service.
  • Manage WIP and billing for own clients, delivering strong commercial recoveries.
  • Actively contribute to business development activities through supporting proposals.
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider tax team and other service lines to deliver integrated client work and identify potential business development opportunities.
  • Manage and mentor more junior members of the team to deliver work and support their development.
  • Adhere with the firm’s risk management procedures and take ownership of required engagement administration.
