A large, established Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) organization providing behavioral health services across multiple locations is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee and scale operations across two states. The organization is focused on operational excellence, compliance, and sustainable growth within a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Position Overview

The Director of Operations/COO will lead day-to-day operations, drive performance, and support expansion across multi-site ABA services. This role oversees regional operations, clinical support teams, and infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalable growth.

This is a senior leadership role balancing strategy and hands‑on operational execution.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Strong healthcare or ABA multi‑site operations leadership experience
  • Proven ability to scale operations across multiple locations or regions
  • Deep understanding of compliance and regulatory environments
  • Data‑driven operator focused on performance and efficiency
  • Strong leadership presence with experience managing large teams
  • Growth‑oriented with strong operational and financial judgment
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead operational performance across multi‑site ABA services in two states
  • Drive growth initiatives, expansion, and operational scalability
  • Oversee regional managers, administrative teams, and operational staff
  • Ensure compliance with state, payer, and regulatory requirements
  • Implement KPIs, reporting structures, and performance metrics
  • Improve operational workflows, staffing models, and service delivery
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategy and expansion plans
  • Manage budgets, operational costs, and financial performance
  • Standardize processes across locations to improve efficiency
