Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to join our team at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Catskill, New York. As a key member of our facilities team, the Director of Maintenance will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our 120-bed facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Director of Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including scheduling, prioritizing, and assigning tasks

• Conduct regular building inspections to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards

• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations

• Manage and maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and tools

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication

• Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair projects

• Respond to resident and staff concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner

Director of Maintenance Requirements:

• Prior experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, with a focus on healthcare facilities

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
