** A nationally recognized litigation-focused law firm is seeking a Supervisory Case Manager to oversee and guide its growing case management team. This leadership role reports to the Director of Case Management and offers the opportunity to shape team development, improve operational processes, and support complex, high-profile litigation matters.
The firm maintains a sophisticated litigation practice spanning commercial disputes, white-collar defense and investigations, employment matters, regulatory and securities litigation, and other complex legal issues. In addition to its private client work, the firm is deeply engaged in impactful public interest matters addressing civil rights, equity, and constitutional issues.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in leading and managing a team of Case Managers and Senior Case Managers.
* Oversee litigation-support functions across all phases of litigation, from investigation through trial and appeal.
* Assign matters, balance workloads, and ensure efficient coverage across the team.
* Partner with the Director of Case Management to address team performance, staffing needs, and professional development.
* Participate in performance reviews and contribute to goal-setting and growth plans for team members.
* Develop and deliver training materials and provide mentoring and coaching.
* Support deposition, hearing, and trial preparation, including document compilation, exhibit management, witness materials, and logistical coordination.
* Coordinate courtroom presentation materials and liaise with vendors and court personnel during trial.
* Monitor developments in litigation support and eDiscovery, recommending and implementing best practices.
* Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, correspondence, and other case-related materials as needed.
* Participate in recruiting efforts, including resume review and interviews.
* Contribute to special projects and administrative initiatives as assigned.
---## Qualifications### Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree required.
* 7-8+ years of litigation-support experience required.
* At least 2 years of supervisory experience within a law firm litigation environment preferred.### Skills & Competencies
* Strong knowledge of litigation case-management processes and research tools.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and litigation-support technology.
* Excellent writing, research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
* Exceptional attention to detail and clear, concise communication skills.
* Strong organizational and project-management capabilities, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
* Flexible and responsive, including availability outside standard business hours when necessary.
* Motivated by purpose-driven work and committed to supporting mission-oriented legal advocacy.

* Based in either New York, NY or Washington, DC.
* Standard hours:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., with flexibility as needed.
