This is a Temporary Redeployment Assignment with an approximate end date of xx/xx/xx. Priority consideration will be given to employees impacted by a notice of redundancy. GCB 5 level employees are preferred. For this temporary assignment the successful applicant (employee) will retain their current salary/hourly wage for the duration of the temporary assignment.

Step into a high-impact role at the heart of HSBC’s Inclusion & Culture team as an ERG Partner! In this pivotal position, you’ll champion workplace inclusivity for all by empowering Employee Resource Group (ERG) Leaders and driving initiatives that shape our culture from the ground up. You’ll collaborate with colleagues at every level of the organization—including the Board and OpCo—ensuring ERG strategies are seamlessly aligned with our broader business and people priorities.

As a key partner on the Employee Experience planning team, you’ll help design and deliver experiences that make HSBC a great place to work for everyone. You’ll be deeply involved in all aspects of Inclusion & Culture team projects, working cross-functionally to amplify our impact and foster a truly inclusive environment for all employees. As

our Inclusion and Culture Partner you will:
  • Support the development and execution of a strategic plan for the management and growth of ERGs aligned with the HSBC US inclusion for all approach
  • Collaborate with ERG leaders to create annual objectives and key results (OKRs) for each group as well as work closely with ERG Leaders to support their initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's larger strategic goals
  • Serve as an advocate for ERGs, representing their interests and needs at different organizational levels
  • Identify or develop training programs for ERG leaders and members to enhance leadership skills, cultural competency, and collaborative effectiveness
  • Ensure effective coordination and optimization of resources for ERG programs and collaborate to create innovative and sustainable program solutions
  • Promote and communicate ERG activities and achievements within the organization and create and maintain channels for feedback and continuous improvement to enhance ERG programs and initiatives
  • Design and implement metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of ERGs and prepare and present reports on ERG activities, outcomes, and strategic alignment with organizational goals
  • Manage budgets for ERG activities, ensuring responsible and strategic use of resources
  • Support operational projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against established goals
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful project execution
You’ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
  • Strong experience in HR, or related field
  • Proven experience in program management, leadership development, and strategic planning
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across diverse groups
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusion principles
  • Experience working in a global or multicultural environment
  • Leadership experience within HR
