Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervises clinic operations according to health center policies and procedures.
• Implements and evaluates systems within the center that promote quality of care while monitoring cost effectiveness.
• Collects, organizes, and shares data with appropriate staff for continual quality improvement of operations.
• Maintains awareness of factors that positively and negatively affect the patient experience, including personnel interactions in the work environment.
• Secures and opens facility as needed.
• Works at other BHC sites for special projects as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in health or business administration or equivalent experience;
• Minimum three years supervisory and management experience in community health centers;
• Emotional intelligence (EI), the ability to be sensitive to and understand the emotions of others and to manage his or her own emotions and impulses required;
• Ability to work with people of all social and ethnic backgrounds;
• Familiarity with use of clinical software such as eCW and Microsoft Office programs preferred;
• Ability to train, mentor and develop staff.

Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Site Manager is responsible for the overall operation of Betances Health Center Bushwick site and programs, ensuring that efficient systems are in place, staff is properly trained, and profitability is maximized.
