About the role

The New Generation Industry Leaders (NGIL) Program is a strategic initiative of the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains, designed to empower the next generation of leaders to drive transformation across production floors and supply chains. In partnership with Rockwell Automation, the Forum is seeking a dynamic and strategic Initiative Lead to deliver the NGIL cohorts in 2026, 2027, and 2028, and to support the strategic priorities of the talent pillar.

This role is central to shaping the future of manufacturing and supply chains by building a scalable, impactful, and sustainable leadership movement.

Reporting Lines and Interactions

This position will be based in Forum’s New York Office. The role will report to the Global Initiatives Lead for People-Centric Pillar in Geneva. It is part of a high-profile, rapidly growing team of experts at the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains. The Lead will collaborate closely with colleagues from the Forum’s offices in Geneva, New York, San Francisco and Beijing.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy, Planning, and Delivery of NGIL Cohorts

  • Lead, under manager’s guidance, the development and delivery of the New Generation Industry Leaders Program, including launching and managing the NGIL cohorts in 2026, 2027, and 2028.
  • Design and implement programming and learning modules for each cohort, including virtual and in-person workshops, sessions, and panel discussions; identify and engage industry experts and C-suite leaders.
  • Guide and support cohort capstone initiatives focused on enabling industry transformation in manufacturing and supply chains.
  • Shape the long-term strategy of the global NGIL program, including expansion to Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) network partners and structured alumni engagement, building a movement of future industry leaders.

Program Operationalization and Coordination

  • Oversee initiative coordination between Rockwell Automation and the Forum, ensuring effective initiative management and timely completion of workplans.
  • Develop and curate program content in line with Forum guidelines, including overview materials, website content, and tools to support seamless program delivery.
  • Strengthen impact data collection, analysis, and reporting; aggregate and benchmark data, present outcomes to the steering committee, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline processes and enhance the delivery of future NGIL cohorts.
  • Act as the primary liaison for continued CEO and leadership sponsorship from both the Forum and Rockwell Automation.

Strategic and Programmatic Support

  • Provide strategic and programmatic support for talent pillar initiatives, including efforts to attract a new generation into manufacturing and supply chain careers.
  • Build and nurture a strong, engaged NGIL alumni community and local chapters in collaboration with the C4IR network, supported by centralized oversight, governance frameworks, and global knowledge-sharing.
Requirements and Professional Experience
