Location: New York

Senior Construction Manager

This position is eligible for telework, which is currently one day per week. New hires are eligible to apply 30 days after their effective hire date.

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (7.5 hr/day) or as required

Salary Range: $105,575 to $131,969

Responsibilities
  • Review in‑house technical designs for constructability in non‑design‑build projects.
  • Monitor and audit third‑party technical design and construction activities for compliance with contract requirements.
  • Provide continuous construction oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Manage and allocate constructability review team members to project schedules/milestones.
  • Document both conforming and non‑conforming work and the progress of outstanding issues, verify corrective actions, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is desirable.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certifications are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong focus on delivering results, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent team‑building, listening, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Windows environment, Microsoft Office, People Soft, Oracle, and strong business administrative skills (e.g., presentations, report and letter writing, time management).
