Weaver is looking for an Audit Manager or Senior Manager to play a vital role in growing our Audit team in the Northeast. A Weaver Audit Manager/Senior Manager is a driven team player who provides excellent service to clients throughout all phases of the audit while developing, training and mentoring Associates and Senior Associates. An Audit Manager/Senior Manager works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development and firm administration activities.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent client service throughout all phases of the audit.
- Develop, train, and mentor Associates and Senior Associates.
- Supervise Managers, Supervisors, and Senior Associates across a wide variety of industries.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and firm administration activities.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA required.
- 6+ years of experience in public accounting with direct exposure to Life Sciences and/or technology/media engagements.
- Technical knowledge sufficient to supervise staff in a wide variety of industries.
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff.
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills.
- Experience with a variety of industries and types of audits.
A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $210,000. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
