Director - Warehouse Operations

Summary

Director of Warehouse Operations responsible for overseeing and optimizing performance, service levels, and cost-effectiveness of a multi-DC distribution network across the United States and Canada. The role leads strategic planning, KPI-driven performance management, and 3PL vendor relationships to ensure timely replenishment to retail stores. The position requires close collaboration with Supply Chain, Retail, Digital, and Finance teams and is based in Manhattan with four days per week on-site expected.

• Develop and execute strategic plans for warehouse operations to meet service, cost, and growth objectives.
• Establish, monitor, and analyze KPIs across four distribution centers to drive operational efficiency and control costs.
• Manage 3PL vendor relationships, including performance reviews, budgeting, SLA management, and issue resolution.
• Implement continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to optimize replenishment and warehouse processes.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Retail, Digital, and Finance to align distribution strategies and ensure timely deliveries.
• Oversee achievement of service level agreements with retail stores and balance load versus capacity across DCs.
• Lead cross-functional projects to deploy logistics technology and best practices across the network.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in warehouse operations management, including multi-DC environments.
• Proven experience managing 3PL contracts, vendor performance, and cost controls.
• Strong expertise in warehousing best practices, inventory management, and logistics technology.
• Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence, cost reduction, and service level improvements.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to manage stakeholders.
• Ability to travel regularly to distribution centers and work on-site in Manhattan four days per week.
