Temporary Team Manager - Madison Ave

Summary

The Team Manager is responsible for leading the Madison Avenue store team to deliver exceptional client service, achieve sales objectives, and uphold operational and visual merchandising standards. This role manages staff performance, recruitment, onboarding and development while coordinating with corporate and logistics partners. The manager drives a client-focused, appointment-based business and implements local initiatives to grow the client base.

• Manage and coach a team of Client Advisors through goal setting, regular reviews and daily coaching to ensure KPI achievement
• Lead sales efforts to meet targets and develop events, incentives and appointment-based client strategies
• Recruit, onboard and develop staff and support succession planning and team training programs
• Oversee store operations including POS usage, inventory management, shrink control and monthly reporting
• Partner with Visual Merchandising to implement compelling visual standards and respond to market trends
• Coordinate with corporate, logistics, mall office and other stores to ensure smooth store operations

• Business school, university degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 6 years of retail experience with emphasis on operations or store management, preferably in luxury
• Proven ability to coach teams, drive sales and achieve KPIs
• Computer literate and proficient with POS and inventory systems
• Client book preferred and strong client service orientation
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; foreign languages a plus
