Marketing Director
The Marketing Director leads brand strategy development and implementation, including strategic target definition, insights, sizing, strategic communication planning, and the development of brand strategy initiatives from concept through to creative outputs.
GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Marketing Director also leads strategic target definition, insights, sizing, strategic communication planning and development of brand strategy initiatives from concept through to creative output.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Leads identification of strategic target segments, sizing, and needs assessment, ensuring all brand team members are customer advocates.
- Leads concept development and qualification – including insights, claims, and RTB’s – of key brand initiatives.
- Leads campaign strategy & idea development, advocating for creatives and business targets.
- Leads creative and content development and qualification, including production of primary assets.
- Serves as a key player in defining overall brand architecture and communications strategy.
- Develops a brand equity strategy and program to elevate the brand to a new level and engage the consumer’s hearts and minds.
- Leads the process of market research by defining customer understanding gaps and setting objectives, leading market research initiatives and turning insights into business‑driving actions.
- Impacts decision making with recommendations based on solid marketing understanding and insightful analysis of research findings and data support.
- Collaborates with Marketing Operations team to ensure projects stay on track and production needs are met.
- Partners with Advertising team to ensure delivery against key KPIs, addressing strategy and asset needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or Advertising field.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing or retail leadership positions.
- Marketing expertise, including branding, creative development, communications strategy, consumer research and analytics.
- Proven ability to communicate a clear and compelling vision, gaining buy‑in at all levels in a matrix organization.
- Flexible and nimble leader with the ability to effectively communicate and mobilize thought and resources in a fast‑paced retail environment, including proven ability to identify and allocate organizational resources in alignment with strategic priorities.
- Proven team leadership skills including coaching and mentoring.
- Proven business leadership skills managing several external suppliers, partners, and agencies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to create a feeling of energy and excitement around shared goals and values, building team and organizational commitment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- MBA.
- Proven business leadership skills including business analysis, budget and resource allocation, influential writing and presenting, and P&L management.
Pay Range: -

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
