Description

The VP of Skincare Category Leadership, Consumer Intelligence is a strategic and complex position accountable across various ELC leadership, business functions and regions to enable a multi-billion-dollar brand‑led portfolio optimized skincare category strategy. We are looking for someone with 15+ years related experience, including deep understanding of category portfolio management, consumer insights, foresights and strategy.

Extensive knowledge of traditional and state‑of‑the‑art market research techniques/procedures, analytics on social and search platforms and translation of insights to strategic choices. Expertise with the integration of multi‑source data and transforming this data to actionable insights that drive business results. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including leading through influencing others and building collaborative relationships across the organization. Requires learning agility and proven ability to project manage and lead growth projects.

Qualifications

Own Consumer and Skincare Category foresight leading all aspects of research, analytics and trends across pre‑purchase, purchase and post‑purchase consumer journey. Support all Skincare Brands in ELC portfolio to win in a coordinated way against the areas of consumer demand.

  • Category Strategy and Brand
    Strategy: Identify the opportunities of growth in skincare category in core markets, lead the development of skincare category ambition for share growth and guide Category Strategy and Brand Strategy, with accountability to Category Leader and Brand Presidents.
  • Fewer, Bigger and Bolder New Product Launches: Accountable to Brand Presidents, SVPs of marketing, R&D, Regional Presidents and Country GMs to develop skincare NPLs against the areas of consumer demand that are accretive to business.
