Senior Environment, Health and Safety Manager

The Senior Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager contract role is site based in Hopewell Junction, NY. The EHS Manager will function as a senior EHS technical resource supporting manufacturing, facilities, and construction activities across the site. Responsibilities include serving as a primary EHS resource, identifying risks, supporting semiconductor tool installation and decommissioning, leading incident investigations, supporting construction safety and contractor oversight, overseeing high-risk work activities such as LOTO, confined space, hot work, and chemical and gas systems, maintaining compliance, analyzing EHS data, preparing reports, and supporting regulatory inspections.

• Must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational safety, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of EHS experience in semiconductor or similar high-hazard industries.
• Must demonstrate working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, and the ability to operate independently and collaborate across functions.
• Semiconductor experience and specialty gas familiarity preferred.
• CSP, CIH, or CHMM.
• Strong foundation in Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health principles, with the ability to apply them in an active worksite environment.
• Demonstrated experience in Accident Investigation, including root-cause analysis, corrective action planning, and follow-up verification.
• Proficiency in developing and delivering Training on safety procedures, hazard recognition, and regulatory compliance to diverse site personnel.
• Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA) and experience implementing compliance programs in construction, industrial, or similar settings.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and coach team members and contractors at all levels.
• Proven ability to work independently on-site, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions in time-sensitive situations.
• Previous experience in a site-based EHS management or safety leadership role.
