Account Manager
Company: Craniometrix – Using AI to help dementia patients age at home.
Location: New York, NY, US
Salary (OTE): $140,000 – $200,000 per year
Employment type: Full‑time
Role type: Sales / Account Management
Experience required: 3+ years
About the RoleCraniometrix is building the care infrastructure that makes living with dementia easier. After a practice signs with us, your job is to drive patient enrollment, build trusting relationships, and grow each account over time.
We launched our care navigation service in July 2025, reached $8M in ARR in our first year, and raised a $15M Series A. The role is a pivotal, ground‑level hire with real ownership and the chance to shape our account management playbook.
What You’ll Do Own Enrollment and Activation- Drive patient enrollment ramps from each practice, turning a signed partnership into engaged families.
- Lead implementation and onboarding as the primary point of contact, coordinating with operations, data, and enrollment teams.
- Partner with practices to identify and refer eligible dementia patients and remove workflow friction.
- Serve as the trusted point of contact for neurologists, office managers, and administrators with regular check‑ins, reporting, and reviews.
- Stratify accounts by value, need, and complexity to tailor engagement.
- Act as the voice of the customer, feeding insights into product prioritization and the broader playbook.
- Expand each account over time: increase referral and enrollment volume, surface high‑engagement practices for pilots, and drive adoption of new lines.
- Own renewals, treating a flat account as an opportunity rather than a steady state.
- Manage customer questions, concerns, and issues end to end, resolving them quickly with internal teams.
- Document interactions and share insights to improve team effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, GUIDE, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
- You measure yourself by the customer's outcomes.
- You build lasting trust by being reliable, prepared, and genuinely useful.
- You own a book of accounts and grow it.
- You are organized and systematic, juggling portfolio and data with energy.
- The mission matters to you; you want your work to meaningfully help families living with dementia.
- You thrive in ambiguity and want to shape account management from scratch.
Experience and skills
- 3+ years in account management, customer success, or a comparable post‑sale role, ideally owning retention, expansion, or a book of business.
- Experience managing the full customer lifecycle from onboarding through renewal and expansion.
- A track record of driving measurable outcomes such as adoption, utilization, retention, or expansion (patient enrollment and engagement).
- Comfort with data, reporting, and portfolio stratification.
- Strong written and verbal communication, credible with clinical and administrative stakeholders.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, early‑stage environment and building from a blank page.
- Highly organized, systematic, and comfortable owning a number.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, healthtech, value‑based care, or Medicare‑reimbursed care models (GUIDE, CCM/PCM, or comparable).
- Experience managing physician‑practice or provider relationships.
- Experience as an early or founding customer success or account management hire, or building an account management motion from scratch.
- A track record of driving enrollment, utilization, or referral volume in a care or services model.
Primarily virtual, with periodic travel a few times a year to meet key accounts and attend conferences.
CompensationThe OTE range for this role is $140,000 to $200,000 per year, with a portion delivered as performance‑based variable tied to enrollment, retention, and expansion. The role also includes meaningful early‑stage equity.
